At Buttons & Fess, every paddle tells a story. Rooted in the proud legacy of Omega Psi Phi, our family's deep connection to Greek life is what inspired our craft—and it's what fuels our commitment to honoring the traditions of every Divine Nine organization we serve.

Each paddle—whether 2D or 3D—is made from premium wood, laser-cut and engraved, and carefully hand-painted to reflect your organization’s heritage. More than just a decorative piece, every design is a symbol of pride, history, and personal legacy, handcrafted to celebrate the journey of brotherhood and sisterhood.

With each custom creation, we’re not just preserving tradition—we’re passing it on.

Step 1:

Choose Your Paddle Style

Choose from 2ft or 2.5ft designs—each handcrafted and fully customized to reflect your organization’s identity.

Paddles listed on our site are part of our pre-designed collection, thoughtfully created for each organization. However, if you have a unique vision, we’re happy to start from scratch.begin at an additional $20 and vary based on complexity

Step 2:

Personalize Your Details

After selecting your paddle, you’ll complete a customization form. You’ll be able to specify:

  • Chapter name or letters (up to 3)
  • Line names or numbers
  • Initiation year
  • Colors (based on organization standards)
  • Special symbols or phrases (within the design limits)

    Note: Each paddle design may have a specific number of customizable lines.

Step 3

Design Approval & Production

Once we receive your form, we’ll create a digital mock-up of your paddle. You’ll receive it via email for approval. One revision is included to ensure your vision is fully captured.

After approval, we’ll begin crafting your paddle. Each piece is laser-cut, engraved, and hand-painted with care. Production time is typically 2–3 weeks, depending on order volume.

  • Shipping or Pickup

    Once your paddle is complete, we’ll carefully package and ship it directly to you, or you can arrange local pickup at our Nashville studio.

    Pair text with an image to focus on your chosen product, collection, or blog post. Add details on availability, style, or even provide a review.
